Ralph Maynard Brown, age 88, of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday April 23, 2021 in his home.

Ralph was born in Carroll County, Virginia on February 6, 1933 to Dilver and Stella Payne Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Brown and great-grandchildren Anthony and Ayden Bishop.

He is survived by his daughters Tammy Brown, Ramona Rippey, both of Galax; grandchildren Kayla Bishop, Jerry Sawyers; and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his sister Mary Lou Davis of Hillsville; brothers and sisters-in-law Duane and Dianne Brown of Galax, Dale and Mary Brown of Hillsville; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Brown's service will be private. There will be no visitation.
