Rachel Nadine Hall Stamper's Obituary
Rachel Nadine Hall Stamper, age 70, of Galax, passed away Friday, June 29, 2007 at her home.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Mary Jane and Michael Carico of Galax; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Gary A. Stamper and David & Kim Stamper all of Galax. One Grandson David Michael Carico. Also surviving are two sisters and one brother-in-law: Dorothy H. Gardner of Woodlawn, Nellie H. & Glen Zuhlke of Galax; two brothers & sisters-in-law: Oscar & Larmie Hall of Galax; Robert ( Bobby) & Frances Hall of Aldie, VA; sister-in-law: Betty Hall of Woodlawn, VA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents Kilby & Ida Mae Coleman Hall, a brother Kilby Guy Hall, and sister & brother-in-law Kathleen H. & Leon Hooker.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7 until 9 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel.
The funeral service will be Sunday, July 1, 2007 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Ernest Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Worrell Cemetery in Carroll County.
