Phyllis Jane Vaughan, age 75, of Hillsville, VA, died Saturday, July 30, 2016 at the Trinity Mission in Hillsville, VA.
Mrs. Vaughan was born April 28, 1941, in Ohio, to William Henry and Ida Mae Vinson Hutchens. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, James K. Vaughan; two sons, Charles W. Fleeman, Jr. and William G. Fleeman; two brothers, Raymond Hutchens and William Hutchens.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce & Roger Bowen, Woodlawn, VA, Lisa Fleeman & Tim Ellis, Newberry, FL; son, Richard Lee Fleeman, Salem, VA; mother, Ida Mae Hutchens, Ohio; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday,Aug. 3, 2016 at the Woodlawn Church of God at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax, Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016. Officiating minister will be Pastor Rudy Robinson.
