Phyllis Jean Fiedler age 58 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Phyllis was born in Grayson County, Virginia on September 1, 1953 to John Wayne and Helen Isom Leath.
In addition to her mother Helen Marshall of Galax, Virginia she is survived by her daughter Sherry Ann Fiedler of Anderson, South Carolina; son John Chrisotpher Fiedler of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; granddaughters Mercedes Riggins, Autumn Riggins and Sofia Fiedler; sister Barbara Ann Sutherland of Galax, Virginia; brother William Dean Marshall of Atlanta, Georgia; special friend Johnny Cox.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 12:00 Noon in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Hobert Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Friends Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time for the funeral service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
