Phyllis Ann Barton Edwards age 70 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Edwards was born in Grayson County, Va. on October 21, 1939 to Harvey Vance and Vita Lee Osborne Barton.
In addition to her mother of Galax, Virginia she is survived by her husband Lowell Lee Edwards of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Karen Edwards and Larry F. Bowman of Fancy Gap, Virginia; grandchildren Brock Larry Bowman, Blake Edward Bowman. Bronson Levi Bowman and Brogan Lee Bowman.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 11:00 am in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Wendell Horton, Rev. David Johnson and Rev. Myron Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
