Phillip Ondrea Goodson age 35 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 at this home.

Phillip was born in Galax, Virginia  on December 7, 1987 to Bobby Phil and Vickey Michelle Clyburn Goodson.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Brenda Marlene Goodson and his maternal grandparents Moses and Virginia Clyburn.;

He is survived by his wife Tina Angelina Shaw Goodson of Galax, Virginia; parents Bobby and Vickey Goodson of Fries, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Adam and Dawn Goodson of Galax, Virginia; Michael Goodson of Fries, Virginia; paternal grandfather Ralph Goodson of Fries, Virginia; two uncles Henry and Shirley Clyburn of Statesville, North Carolina; Timothy Clyburn of Radford, Virginia; three nephews Damien; Jasper and Cas; father-in-law and mother-in-law Roy and Jan Bedsaul; his special pet Millie.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 until time for the funeral service at the Grace Baptist Church.
