Perry Nathaniel Williams age 82 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Monday, September 26, 2011 at his home.

Mr. Williams was born in Carroll County, Virginia on September 20, 1929 to Roby and Belzora Burcham Williams. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Williams; son Curtis Williams; granddaughter Andrea Williams; grandson Chris Williams and brother Glenn Williams.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Teresa and Ronnie Isom of Woodlawn, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Michael and Julie Williams of Woodlawn, Virginia; Jay and Ginger Williams of Lambsburg, Virginia; Steven and Jill Williams of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; sisters Daisy Moore of Roanoke, Virginia; Ruth Turner and Edna Hanks both of Woodlawn, Virginia; Faye Welsh of Galax, Virginia; brother Jimmy Williams of Woodlawn, Virginia; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Titus Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Military Rites by Hillsville VFW Post 1115. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:30 PM until time for the funeral service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
