Perry C. Burcham's Obituary
Perry C. Burcham age 71 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Burcham was born in Carroll County, Virginia on May 1, 1942 to Kester Alexander and Allie Mae Galyean Burcham. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Darrell Burcham.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Stoneman Burcham; daughter Kimberly Dowdy; sons and daughter-in-law James Carl and Linda Burcham; Randy Wayne Burcham; two grandchildren Kesley Martin Dowdy and Allie Brooke Dowdy; sister and brother-in-law Wanda and Buddy Brannock; brothers and sisters-in-law Dale and Donna Burcham; Dwight and Terry Burcham; Benny and Darlene Burcham all of Galax, Virginia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday January 21, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the Snow Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernie Smith; the Rev. Darrin Brannock and Danny Smith officiating. Burial will be held Wednesday January 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Snow Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Snow Hill Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 1307 Galax, Virginia 24333 or to the Twin County Humane Society, P.O. Box 125 Hillsville, Virginia 24343.
