Peggy Sue Lineberry age 84 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Lineberry was born in Galax, Virginia on May 29, 1935 to W.C. (Cone) and Ruby Murray Pierce. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law William and Lois Pierce, sister-in-law Linda Simpson and a brother-in-law Larry Lineberry.

She is survived by her husband Donald Dean Lineberry of Galax, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Janice and Johnny Jones of Galax, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Phyllis Pierce of Dayton, Tennessee; brother-in-law Bobby Simpson of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
