Peggy Wingate Prillaman, 83, of Martinsville, VA passed away on December 7, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Prillaman was born in Akron, Ohio on September 6, 1930 to the late Muncy Thomas Wingate and Nell Carico Wingate. She was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Wingate Weddle, one brother Billy Gene Wingate and a grandson, Billy Malkiewicz.

Mrs. Prillaman was of the Baptist faith, and worked as a registered nurse until 1980.

Surviving is her husband, John Lennis Prillaman of the home; one daughter, Deborah Prillaman of Martinsville, VA; one son, David Prillaman and wife Barbara of Front Royal, VA; three sisters, Betty Wingate Chew of Martinsville, VA, Dorothy Wingate Branscome of Galax, VA and Rosemary Wingate Humphrey of Kernersville, NC; one brother Ralph Thomas Wingate of Galax, VA; one grandson, Ricky Malkiewicz of Maryland; and three great grandchildren.

Pastor Anne Sisson will officiate, all services will be private.
