Peggy Sue Leonard Lineberry age 81 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday at her home.

Mrs. Lineberry was born on March 22, 1944 in Carroll County, Virginia to Everett and Lema Swinney Leonard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Mary Jennings.

She is survived by her husband Carroll Lineberry of Galax, Virginia; daughters and sons-in-law Cindia and David Roop of Fries, Virginia; Carolyn Lynn and Joe Stilwell; Christia and Ronnie Harmon all of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brother-in-law Martha Bobbitt of Lambsburg, Virginia; Vicki and Rodger Blevins of Fries, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Don Leonard of Lexington, North Carolina; Darrell and Brenda Leonard of Fries, Virginia; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special caretaker Lisa Frost.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Brother Jody Mitchell and Brother Clay Wingler officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the Mt. Valley Hospice, 7599 Carrollton Pike, Galax, Virginia 24333.
