Peggy Jane Parsons Chappell age 83 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, May 12, 2023 in the Galax Health and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Chappell was born in Galax, Virginia on September 29, 1939 to Oscar Lloyd and Myrtle Ellis Parsons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Wayne Chappell and Richard Honeycutt the children's father.

She is survived by her son Lloyd Honeycutt of Danville, Virginia; daughter Michelle Lisa Honeycutt of Richmond, Virginia; granddaughter and husband Bailey Wray and Jacob of Danville, Virginia; one great-granddaughter Daisy Wray.

At the request of Mrs. Chappell her body will be cremated and no services will be held.
