Peggy Ann Burnette's Obituary
Peggy Ann Reece Burnette age 61 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Peggy was born on September 13, 1951 in Grayson County, Virginia to James Elbert and Ola Hutchens Reece. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Wallace Reece.
She is survived by her husband Frazier S. (Sammy) Burnette, Jr. of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughter-in-law Samuel James Burnette of Cape Coral, Florida; Timmy and Melissa Burnette of Galax, Virginia; grandsons Tyler Burnette and Austin Burnette; sister Leona Frances Patton; brother and sister-in-law David and Charlotte Reece all of Galax, Virginia; sisters-in-law and husband Kathy Money of Galax, Virginia; Myra and Vic Youngblood of Fries, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Hebron Church of Christ with Billy Burnette and Elder Pete Hawks officiating. The body will lie-in-state one hour prior the funeral service. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
