Peggy Maxine Bryant, 84, of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 in Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Center in Quarryville, Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Bryant was born November 29, 1934 in Grayson County, Virginia to Malcom Quincy and Eva Rector Shupe.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in -law: Debby Grace of New Providence, Pennsylvania; Sandy and Jim Roberts of Woodlawn, Virginia; Cathy and Lee Johnson; Kelly and Bobby Hice all of Low Gap, North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Gail Blackburn of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; sister and brother-in-law: Bonnie and Junior Blackburn of Galax Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Benny and Pat Shupe of Galax, Virginia; sister-in-law: Guida Shupe of Roanoke, Virginia; twelve grandchildren; twenty-eight  great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 2-00 PM in the Savannah United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Lindamood officiating.   Interment  will follow in the Edmonds Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for the service at Savannah United Methodist Church.
