Peggy Regenia Baumgardner Blackburn age 66 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Peggy was born in Surry County, North Carolina on October 26, 1949 to Audie Lee and Eugenia Eller Baumgardner.
She is survived by her husband Efrain Rosales; daughter Sandy Carranza; son Danial Blackburn all of Galax, Virginia; four grandchildren Erik Carranza; Marcy Carranza; Jessica Wertman; Nick Blackburn; great-grandson Kolton Wertman; sisters Dora Lee Coleman and Lois Shupe both of Galax, Virginia; brothers John Baumgardner and Bobby Baumgardner both of Fries, Virginia; Billy Baumgardner of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews
The funeral service will be held Friday December 4, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Akers and John Wayne Baumgardner officiating Burial will follow in the Galax City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
