Pearl Jenell Sharp Bowers' Obituary
Pearl Jenell Bowers better known as Jenell age 75 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Bowers was born Nov. 25, 1942 in Carroll County, VA to Howard Clifford and Lena Burnett Sharp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlee Bowers.
She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Wesley Carico, Woodlawn, VA and Timothy Darrell & Linda Sharp, Woodlawn, VA; grandchildren, Wesley Gray Carico, Joseph Lee & Kim Sharp, Danielle Nicole Sharp; great-grandchild, Talyn Cage Bolt; sisters, Wilma Jennings, Woodlawn, VA, Ilene Akers, Hillsville, VA; brother & sister-in-law, Darrell & Rita Sharp, Galax, VA. Several nieces and nephews, also, survive.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Cavalry Church of Christ with burial to follow in the Sharp Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Monday, Nov. 27, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the church. Johnny Young will be the officiating minister.
