Pauline Agnes Painter's Obituary
Pauline Agnes Painter age 83 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Painter was born on June 5, 1928 in Carroll County, Virginia to Richard Monroe and Ethel Edwards Smith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Painter.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Ricky and Patti Painter of Galax, Virginia; Danny and Renee Painter of Collinsville, Virginia; sisters and brother-in-law Una Lee Gravley of Washington, DC; Nina Faye and Buddy Jones of Woodlawn, Virginia; brother Harold Smith of Woodlawn, Virginia; grandson and wife Travis and Carrie Painter; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Sam Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
