Pauline Phipps McBride age 73 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 at Twin County Regional Hospital.
Ms. McBride was born on June 8, 1936 in Carroll County, Va. to James & Lillie Brindle Spears.
She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law Larry & Polly Phipps of Galax, Va.; Richard Phipps & Pamela Burny of Conway, S.C.; Wendell & Lisa Phipps of Mt. Airy, N.C.; daughters Virginia Lyons and Paula Phipps both of Galax, Va.; brother James K. Spears of Wilmington, Delaware; twelve grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 11:00 am in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Ronny Harrison and Rev. Billy Yates officiating. Burial will follow in Crooked Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
