Pauline W. Littreal, 81, of Fries, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013 in the Twin County Regional Hospital. Pauline was born in Fries on June 4, 1932 to Arnold and Iva Funk Moore.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Larry (Butch) Jefferson.

Pauline is survived by her husband of 22 years, James D. (J. D.) Littreal; daughters and son-in-law: Lynne Grimes of Galax; Traci and Kevin McKinney of Orlando, Florida; son: Rocky Moore Jefferson of Fries; step children: Barbara Gaudet of Galax, Virginia; Roger Littreal of Williamsburg, Virginia; James Littreal, Jr. of New York City, New York; and Richard Littreal of Blacksburg, Virginia, and adopted son Hokie. Five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nine step grandchildren, three step great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. Interment will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery at Fries. The family will receive friends Monday evening September 16, 2013 from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home.

The family respectfully requests no food at the home.
