Pauline Corinne Kroll was born three days before the start of the baby boomer generation in a little place called New York City. She grew up there in poodle skirts & bobby socks with her sister Diane & her parents Charles & Madeline, enjoying city life until she met & married her first love, Carl, in 1962. Carl & Pauline built a home in South Centerville, NY and raised 4 fabulous kids, Carl, Corinne, Lorraine & Charlie, who then went on & raised their own little ones, Katie, Eric, Danielle, Robbi, Will & Darren, giving my mom 6 grandkids to love. And various family moving near meant the addition of a niece & nephew, Suzanne & Jon, and a D-I-L she adored, Kim. After spending over 20 years as a wife & homemaker, mom changed her life & went back to school, received her nursing degree & spent the ensuing 20 years working in hospitals in NY & AZ. A double knee replacement in 2007 ended her nursing career, but that seemed to work out just fine, as her last 2 grandkids had just arrived into this world, & she was happy with her NY Times, CNN, & Starbucks coffee.
