Pauline Parks Jackson age 92 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, January 26, 2026 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Carroll County, Virginia on May 19, 1933 to Jackson Floyd and Della Mae Carpenter Parks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Samuel Duval Jackson and two sons Gregory Jackson and Darle Jackson.

She is survived by two grandchildren  Celina Harvey (Mark) of Fancy Gap, Virginia;  Matthew  Jackson (Patricia Dunford) of Woodlawn, Virginia;  two great-grandchildren Sean Harvey (Hayley Gross); Valerie Harvey (Kendal Farmer); sister Peggy Isom of Woodlawn, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Clyde and Darlene Parks; Roger and Frankie Parks all of Galax, Virginia; Truman and Dawn Parks of Woodlawn, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Bishops Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
