Pauline Ardean Hawks' Obituary
Pauline Ardean Hawks age 90 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Hawks was born in Carroll County, Virginia on May 21, 1922 to Troy Calvin and Ada Leona Lowe Rippey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie B. Hawks.
She is survived by her sisters and brother-in-law Vera Combs of Fancy Gap, Virginia; Lura McCraw of Galax, Virginia; Virginia and James Combs of Lexington, North Carolina; brothers and sisters-in-law Lloyd and Wanda Rippey; Charlie and Geraldine Rippey all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 1,2012 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Randy Rippey officiating. Burial will follow in the Susie Hawks Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from two until time for the funeral service at the funeral home.
