Pauline Martin Hall age 82 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in the Golden Living Center.
Mrs. Hall was born in Grayson County, Virginia on March 4, 1931 to Lonnie and Ora Thompson Martin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Hall, Sr.; daughter Mary Ann Marler and son Marvin Hall, Jr..
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Patty and Ernie Smith of Galax, Virginia; Jeannie and Don Schierer of Atlanta, Georgia; son-in-law David Marler, Sr. of East Bend, North Carolina; grandchildren and spouses David Marler, Jr. & Jennifer; Amy Treadway & Travis; Crystal Hall; Jamie Smith; Michael Smith & Alena; Sander Schierer; five great-grandchildren; sister Lucille Wilson of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Snow Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Rex Tolliver officiating. Burial will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Snow Hill Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Snow Hill Cemetery Fund.
