Patsy Carolyn Wright age 69, of Fries, Va., passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Wright was born on June 25, 1941 in Grayson County, Va. to Robert Pascal and Hazel Whitaker Atkins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law and husband Betty and James "Buck" Davis; brother-in-law Junior Jennings.
She is survived by her husband Maurice Wright of Fries, Va.; daughters and son-in-law Lori & Danny Bilbrey of Wytheville, Va.; Lesia Wright of Galax, Va.; grandchildren Kendall Bilbrey and Taylor Bilbrey; brother and sister-in-law Doug and Susan Atkins of Woodlawn, Va.; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law and husband Barbara and David Harmon of Fries, Va.; Lois Jennings of Collinsville, Va.; brother-in-law and wife Charles "Bud" and Frances Wright of Galax, Va..
A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Providence Cemetery with Rev. Bill Linkous officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from one until two at Providence United Methodist Church.
