Patsy Marie Sharp Leonard age 74 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025 in the Hillsville Health and Rehab Center.

Patsy was born in Galax, Virginia on October 20, 1951 to Harold Wayne and Dorothy Smith Sharp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gale Leonard.

She is survived by her sons James Payne of Galax, Virginia; Doug Fizer of Dublin, Virginia; sister Joanne Mello; brother Wayne Sharp both of Galax, Virginia; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; aunt and uncle Dorothy and Tiny Smith.

It was Patsy's request to be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
