Patsy Elizabeth Archer Bourne age 84 of Fries, Virginia passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024 in the New River Valley Medical Center.

Patsy was born on August 7. 1940 in Grayson County, Virginia to William Lestle and Mary Belle Taylor Archer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings George William Archer; Bill Archer; Carlton "Duke" Archer; Robert Archer and Mildred Archer Hoffman.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Leroy Bourne of Fries, Virginia; daughters and son-in-law Barbara Bourne  of Fries, Virginia; Angelia and Brian Dixon of Galax, Virginia; sister Edna Archer Pearman; brothers and sister-in-law Gene and Tina Archer; Thomas Archer; three grandchildren Chad Shaffner; Tracie Vaughan (Jacob);  Ty Dixon; five great-grandchildren Kacie Shaffner; Andrew Shaffner; Anna Vaughan Gallimore (Trent); Ayla Vaughan; Allie Vaughan; one great-great-grandchild Brayleigh Gallimore; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Marty Stallard and Pastor Tony Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow in the Joe Bryant Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
