Patricia Lee (Vess) Snyder age 65 of Galax, Virginia formerly of Raleigh, N.C. and Portsmouth, Va. passed peacefully to God on Monday, December 1, 2008. She is survived by her husband Joe Snyder of Galax, brother Bill Rutherford and wife MaryAnne of Virginia Beach, sister Toni Terrill of Lexington, Va. and brother Michael Rutherford and wife Susan of Corbin, Kentucky. Patricia was preceded in death by her grandmother Minnie Lee Benson, mother Virginia Jenkins, and sister Gloria Miller all of Portsmouth, Va.. Visitation will be at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, 201 West Center Street, Galax, Va. 24333 on Saturday, from 1-2 pm. A memorial service conducted by Minister Lynda Simpkins will commence at 2 pm, followed by interment at Felts Memorial Cemetery.
