Patricia Ann Royal age 67 of Ivanhoe, Virginia passed away Saturday March 5, 2022 in the Northern Surry Regional Hospital.

Patricia was born in Galax, Virginia on October 26, 1954 to Buster Lee and Frances Irene Handy Oakley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Michael Royal.

She is survived by her husband Roger Royal; daughter Catherine Hyatt both of Ivanhoe, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Wanda and Donnie Anders of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Timmy Lee Oakley of Galax, Virginia; Terry Lee and Dorothy Oakley of Elk Creek, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; aunt Mildred Piner of Fries, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the Cold Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Rick Clark and Pastor Ben Haga officiating. There will be no visitation.
