Patricia Louise Isom age 77 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 in the Forsyth Medical Center.
Mrs. Isom was born in Carroll County, Virginia on April 6, 1936 to C.W. and Lille Isom Roberts. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Clayton Isom.
She is survived by two daughters Susan Phillips and Linda Chipman both of Galax, Virginia; son and fiance' Larry E. Isom and Judy Jones Marshall of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Lauren Barnes and Dusty Brady; two great-grandchildren Lily Barnes and Kaden Barnes; sister Mable Melton of Pennsylvania; brother Gleason Roberts of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 18, 2013 in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
