Patricia Gail Gayheart's Obituary
Patricia Gail Dooley Gayheart age 75 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Gayheart was born in Mullins, West Virginia on December 9, 1936 to Henry and Ara Canterbury Dooley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Peggy Jean Dooley, Charlotte Lacy and Billie Beth Calfee.
She is survived by her husband Willard Gayheart of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Jill and Scott Freeman of Woodlawn, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Steve and Kathy Gayheart of Woodlawn, Virginia; Michael and Leesa Gayheart of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Sarah Gayheart, Dori Freeman and Grayson Cole Morris; sister Janice Bailey of Mullins, West Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. John Grimm and Rev. Edwin Lacy officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Cranberry. The family will receive friends Saturday from one until service time at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, Galax, Virginia.
