Patricia Ann Fielder, age 80, of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday February 23, 2024 in High point Medical Center.

Patricia was born on February 28, 1943 in Kingsport, Tennessee to the late William Eugene and Sarah Katherine Smith Hackler. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Shirley Tucker, Sandra Coomes, Dana Hackler, and Warren Hackler.

She is survived by her husband John R. Fielder Jr. of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Sonda and Michael Tracy of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law John R. Fielder III and Becky of Hollywood, Maryland; sister Barbara Hall of Danville, Virginia; grandchildren Ellisse Sawyers, Hannah Achesinski, John R. Fielder IV, Isaac Tracy and Josiah Tracy; six great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday February 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Dr. Kevin Rosenfield officiating and burial to follow in Jerusalem Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday February 28, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
