Patricia Ann Haga Farmer age 54 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, March 27, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. Patricia was born in Galax, Virginia on May 2, 1954 to Ralph Houston & Sylvia Isom Haga. In addition to her mother Sylvia Haga of Galax, Va. she is survived by her daughters Melissa Blackburn of Galax, Va. and Angela Steward of Rock Hill, South Carolina; son John Bates of Galax, Va.; sisters Rebecca Barr & Wanda Haga both of Galax, Va; grandchildren Miles Bates, Ivan Bates, Shawn Blackburn and Hailey Steward. The funeral service will be held Monday, March 30, 2009 at 1:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Gary Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
