Pamela Gay Key Brimer, age 68, of Archdale, NC left her earthly bars of bone in the Hospice House of High Point on Pentecost Sunday, June 5, 2022 at  10:25 am.  After one week of hospitalization.  This was the first time in the hospital during her 4 year journey dealing with ovarian cancer.  She completed the journey with grace, dignity and faith.  She fought a good fight, kept the faith, she is safe in the arms of Jesus. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Pamela was born in Galax, VA on August 12, 1953 to John Howard , Sr. and Dora (Verta) Key.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Howard (Johnny) Key, Jr.  She is survived by her loving Soulmate Husband of almost 27 years, Samuel Eugene Brimer, Archdale, NC; and two sisters Scarlet and Dale Rucker, Spring Lake, NC and Rita Key; one brother Randy and Dena Key; sister-in-law Shirley Key all of Galax, VA; six nieces and one nephew, six great nephews, five great nieces and four special friends: Jane Harrison, Blacksburg, VA; Sandra Combs, Cana, VA; Jeff Pope, Archdale, NC and Josh Pope Archdale, NC.

The funeral will be held Sunday, June 12, 2022, 3:00 pm at the Haven of Rest Bible Church on Edmonds Road, Galax, VA with Pastor Barry Whitaker and Pastor David Spivey officiating.  Burial will follow in the Haven of Rest Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the church.  Friends may call at Rita's house, 1115 Edmonds Road any time.
