Ovis Edgar Funk age 65 of Fries, Virginia passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Ovis was born on April 13, 1948 in Grayson County, Virginia to Warren Anderson and Virginia Hawks Funk.
He is survived by his wife Lena Trimble Funk of Fries, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Steven Edgar and Misty Funk of Fancy Gap, Virginia; Bradley Christopher and Robin Funk of Meadows of Dan, Virginia; Ryan Anderson Funk of Fries, Virginia; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ben Haga officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night from seven until nine at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
