Otis Corbin Horton, 90, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, passed away at his home Thursday, April 26, 2012. Mr. Horton was born on October 28, 1921 in Carroll County, Virginia to Dennie & Lucinda Hawks Horton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Geneva McKenzie and Wanda Brown and brothers Arlie Horton & Jerry Horton.

He is survived by his wife Irene Brown Horton of the home, son and daughter-in-law Randy & Cheri Horton of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; two grandsons Joseph Horton & Nicholas Horton; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 4:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Robert Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery.

Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by Grayson VFW Post #7726. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
