Otie Levi Ring better known as Lee Ring age 74 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Mr. Ring was born on January 14, 1941 in Carroll County, Virginia to Fredrick Curtis and Nellie Gertrude Hanks Ring.

He is survived by his wife Brenda M. Ring of Galax, Virginia; daughters and sons-in-law Lisa and Tim Walls of Hillsville, Virginia; Pam and Mike Payne of Galax, Virginia; son Kevin Ring of Galax, Virginia; brother Mack Ring of Galax, Virginia; brothers-in-law Wade Nelson; Rhudy Miller and Richard Jennings; three grandchildren Brandon Walls, Kayla Payne and Zack Walls; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Steve Canup and Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers and food donations may be made to the family to help with the funeral expenses.
