THIS IS A COURTESY ANNOUNCEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE TAYLOR FAMILY
Orpha Jones Taylor, 76, passed away at her home early July 1, 2017 in Greensboro, NC. was born in Fries, VA to the late Lonnie and Essie Byrd Jones on June 13, 1941. She is survived by her daughter Tammy Case and husband Alan of Greensboro, sons Alton and Rory Taylor both of Greensboro, sisters Iva Vaughn of Fries, VA, Lena Mae Clontz of San Antonio, TX, Betty Ann Stone of McLeansville, NC, brothers Curtis Jones of Independence, VA, Alfred Jones and wife Marilyn of Fries, Virginia; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death along with her parents are her husband Ray Taylor, and two brothers, Homer and Warren N. Jones.
The funeral service will be held Friday July 7, 2017, 2pm at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held Thursday July 6, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home from 6 until 8 pm. Online condolences can be made at www.lambethtroxlerfuneralhome.com.
