Orpha Mae Blevins' Obituary
Orpha Mae Blevins age 94 of Clayton, North Carolina passed away Thursday , April 14, 2016 in the Barbour Court Nursing and Rehab Center in Smithfield, North Carolina.
Mrs. Blevins was born on June 23, 1921 at Fries, Virginia to Robert and Molly Robinson Hodge. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years Charles W. Blevins, who was a WWII Army Veteran; daughter Doris Jean Blevins; sisters Elizabeth Hackler and Maggie Ayers; brothers Wesley Hodge, Payne Hodge and Cecil Hodge.
She is survived by a daughter Ruth Sharrock of Clayton, North Carolina; sons Charles W. Blevins of Walkertown, North Carolina and Gary Blevins of Skygusty, West Virginia; twelve grandchildren; twenty-four great –grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday April 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluefield, West Virginia. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
