Oma Gaye (Granny) Snow, age 81, of Galax, VA, died March 21, 2015 at the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, VA.

Mrs. Snow was born in Alleghany County, NC Nov. 25, 1933 to Garnie & Nancy Blevins Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Snow, daughter, Debbie Horton and son-in-law Archie Horton.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Leisa and Jack Phipps, Galax, VA; sons & daughter-in-law, Butch Snow, Galax, VA; Terry & Regina Snow, Galax, VA; sister, Faye Bottomley, Galax, VA and brother & sister-in-law, Bud & Wanda Robinson, Galax, VA; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews, also, survive.

The memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Chapel, Galax. Pete Hawks will be the officiating minister. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home. Friends may call at the home of Terry Snow, 311 Alderman Street, Galax, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Baywood Rescue Squad.
