Oleta Helen Claytor age 88 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Waddell
Nursing Home.
Mrs. Claytor was born on October 12,1920 to Everett Eldridge & Maggie Lee Burnett Porter.
She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Harry F. Claytor, Jr. & Sue of Vermont; sisters Ardist Patton and Clella Bryant both of Galax, Va.; brother & sister-in-law Ray & Mabel Porter of Galax, Va.; one grandson Michael James Suidema; five nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday, June 12, 2009 at 11:00 am in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Charles Smythers officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
