Olan Rudolph "Rich" Williams age 66 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Williams was born on August 11, 1946 in Carroll County, Virginia to Elmer Lee Williams, Sr. and Dorothy Manuel Williams. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several sisters and brothers.
He is survived by his wife Wanda Marlene Williams; daughter and son-in-law Tracy and Jeff Easter all of Galax, Virginia; very special grandson Tyler Curtis Roberts; sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Terry Walls of North Carolina; brother and sister-in-law Mr. & Mrs. Ted Williams of Lawton, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 4:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Sam Heflin officiating. Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery with Military Rites by the Hillsville VFW Post 1115. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00 PM until time for the funeral service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
