Ola L. Shupe age 97 of Woodlawn, Va. passed away Monday, December 29, 2008 in Waddell Nursing Home. Mrs. Shupe was born on August 23, 1911 in Carroll County, Va. to Jerry M. & Linnie Roberts Jennings. She was the last of her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Shupe; son Jason Kyle Shupe; sisters Ollie Melton & Ella Lineberry Newman; brothers Lester Jennings; Glenn Jennings; Joe Jennings & Ellis Jennings. She is survived by several nieces & nephews; friends J.P. & Euna Viars; Kenneth & Janie Sheffey; Cody & Chase Sheffey and Stevie Viars. The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 1, 2009 at 1:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ron Fredericks officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 until 1:00 pm at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
