Norma Jane Wagoner of Galax, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025.  Jane was preceded in death by her parents Clark and Mae Evans and her husband Ray Wagoner. She is survived by her son James (Sarah) Wagoner of Galax, Virginia.

Jane was raised in Galax and briefly resided with her parents in Winston-Salem, NC where she met her husband Ray.  Jane and Ray returned to Galax to live and raise their family.  Jane worked at Roses' but was best known for working at the cafeteria at Galax Elementary School where she met and made many life long friends.  Jane was a member of Little River Primitive Baptist Church in Sparta and attended faithfully as long as she was able.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Capel with Glenn Hyatt and Pastor Matthew Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Sparta Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
