Norma Jean Rosenbaum Carico, age 76 of Galax, Virginia passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, March 21, 2025. Norma was born on August 2, 1948 in Wytheville, VA to the late Bascom Slemp Rosenbaum and Pauline Robinette Rosenbaum. She is preceded in death by sister, Carol Elaine Kitts and son-in-law, Pastor Stephen C. Burnett.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, David Roger Carico of Galax, VA. Daughters, Tina Carico of Galax, VA and Lisa Carico Burnett of Knoxville, TN. Grandchildren, Abigail Burnett McDonald and husband, Daniel of Jefferson City, TN and Aaron Burnett and wife Auburn of Knoxville, TN and sister, Joyce Ann Anders of Galax, VA.

Receiving of family and friends will be held at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home in Galax, VA on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 6-8 pm.

The Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Felts Cemetery in Galax, VA. Reverend Richard Gregory officiating.
