Norma Jean Pennington age 75 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.

Norma Jean was born in Galax, Virginia on January 19, 1946 to Winfred Bays and Vergie Jane Hall Tomlinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Pennington.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Susie Bailey and Tim Hill of Hillsville, Virginia grandchildren Chris Spears and Casey Hill; step-grandchildren Scottie Horton and J.D. Horton; three great-grandchildren Jaden Carlson; Joey Crowell and Drustin Hill.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Bolen officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
