Norma Faye Isom age 66 of Fries, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, N.C.. She was born on July 13, 1942 in Wythe County, Va.. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Opal Payne & brother Alec Gravley. She is survived by her husband Joe Isom; daughter Renee Isom; son Tony Isom all of Fries, Va.; son & daughter-in-law Charles & Janet Isom of Galax, Va.; grandchildren Jill Isom, Keith Isom, J.J. Duncan and Dylan Isom; four nieces & three nephews. The funeral service will be held Sunday, December 21, 2008 at 3:00 pm in the North Fries Tabernacle with Rev. Robert Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from seven until nine at the North Fries Tabernacle.
