Norma Sue Cournoyer age 80 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 in the Woltz Hospice Home.

Mrs. Cournoyer was born on September 13, 1943 in Grayson County, Virginia to Conil Clevend and Gladys Louise Billings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Patrick Cournoyer; sisters Eva Ruth Billings and Lessie Spencer and a brother Larry Billings.

She is survived by her sisters Barbara (Mitch) Riggins and Frances Hart; brother Troy Billings; sister-in-law Fran Clark; several nieces and nephews and special friend Norma Wolford.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
