Norma Virginia Richardson Cochran age 94 of Ocala, Florida and formerly of Independence, Virginia passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at the E.W. and Lucille Cates House in Ocala, Florida.

Mrs. Cochran was born on January 13, 1931 in Ashe County, North Carolina to Robert E. and Cora Elliott Richardson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clark Cochran; daughter Jean Cochran and son Michael Miller.

She is survived by a daughter Patricia McDowell of Delaware; son and daughter-in-law Robert and Ella Miller of Galax, Virginia; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 12:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Sam Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Crab Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
