Nona Fae Cooley's Obituary
Nona Fae Faddis Cooley age 84 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday September 23, 2013 at her home.
Mrs. Cooley was born in Carroll County, Virginia on June 16, 1929 to the late Lee and Ethel Bedsaul Faddis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband H.G. Cooley, Jr.; son Dennis Ray Cooley and grandson Jeff Watson.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Linda and Jerry Watson; Donna Carico; Becky and Ricky Morris; son and daughter-in-law David and Kim Cooley all of Galax, Virginia; eight grandchildren and spouses Brad and Bobbie Jo Watson; Lisa and Bobby Moody; Scott and Kelly Cooley; John Mark Cooley; Deanna and Larry Burgess; Ryan and Lindsey Morris; Robby and Shanda Morris and Ashton Cooley; ten great-grandchildren; sister Ruth Richardson of Newark, Delaware; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Coal Creek Community Church with Rev. Gary Wilson and Pastor Titus Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Coal Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
