Nickey Ray Anders age 62 of Salem Virginia passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 in the Salem Health and Rehab Center.
Nickey was born on August 19, 1950 in Grayson County, Virginia to Elbert Anders, Jr. and Edith Bond Anders.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law Larry A. and Wanda C. Anders of Fries, Virginia; Ralph E. and Sandra D. Anders of Blue Ridge, Virginia; Rev. Wayne D. and Rev. Carolyn Anders of Fayetteville, North Carolina; many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Great Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Camet Spivey and the Rev. Ted Anders officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
